1.2 Content You Submit

Depending on the features you use, you may provide:

• Questions, prompts, messages, and other text submitted through AI-powered features;
• Photos and images submitted through chat or photo-based tutorial features;
• PDF files or other documents you choose to open or use through the Service;
• Knitting, crochet, craft, pattern, stitch, project, or tutorial-related information;

1.3 Photos and AI Processing

CraftLoopy allows you to submit photos to certain AI-powered features.

Photos are used only to analyze the submitted content and generate the result requested by you. They may be temporarily transmitted to and processed by systems that provide the AI functionality.

Submitted photos are retained only for the time reasonably necessary to complete the generation or processing request and are deleted after processing is completed.

We do not use submitted photos for advertising purposes.

1.4 AI Inputs and Generated Results

When you use AI-powered features, we may process text prompts, questions, photos, and other content you choose to submit, as well as generated tutorials, recommendations, instructions, explanations, or other outputs.

AI-generated results are provided for informational, educational, and creative purposes and may not always be accurate or complete.

1.5 Information Collected Automatically

When you use the Service, certain technical and usage information may be collected automatically, including:

• Device type and model;
• Operating system and app version;
• Language and regional settings;
• General usage and interaction information;
• Crash reports, diagnostics, and performance data;
• Technical identifiers necessary to operate and secure the Service.

1.6 Purchases and Subscriptions

CraftLoopy may offer auto-renewable subscriptions and other in-app purchases.

All purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not collect or store your full payment card or banking information.

We may receive limited purchase information, such as subscription status, purchase type, renewal or expiration status, and transaction-related identifiers, to verify purchases and provide access to premium features.

2. How We Use Information

We may use collected information to:

• Create, authenticate, and manage user accounts;
• Provide and maintain the Service;
• Process prompts, photos, files, and other requests;
• Generate tutorials, craft instructions, AI responses, and related outputs;
• Provide stitch counting, glossary, PDF reading, learning, and tutorial features;
• Verify subscriptions and premium access;
• Restore purchases;
• Improve app functionality and performance;
• Diagnose errors and technical issues;
• Protect the Service against fraud, misuse, and unauthorized access;

We do not sell your personal information.

4. Data Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Service, maintain your account, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, and enforce our agreements.

Photos submitted to AI-powered features are retained only temporarily and are deleted after processing is completed.

When you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize information associated with your account within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law or reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, or dispute resolution.

5. Account Deletion

You may delete your CraftLoopy account using the account deletion option available inside the application.

Account deletion may permanently remove your account information, saved preferences, and content associated with your account.

Deleting your account does not automatically cancel an active Apple subscription. You must separately manage or cancel your subscription through your Apple ID subscription settings.

6. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your location, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, restrict or object to certain processing, withdraw consent, or request a portable copy of certain information.

You may control permissions such as camera, photo library, and file access through your device settings. Disabling permissions may prevent some features from working properly.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure.

However, no electronic transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

The Service and the systems used to operate it may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Where required, appropriate safeguards are used for international data transfers.

9. Children’s Privacy

CraftLoopy is intended for a general audience and is not specifically directed to children under the minimum age required to consent to the processing of personal information under applicable law.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children who are not legally permitted to provide it.
